Gut aufgepasst, das ist Damwild. Es gibt weiße Stücken, die tatsächlich gar nicht so selten sind und es gibt Albinos aber die werden blind und gehen dann ein.

08.12.2016 Bad Honnef.Der Blitzer im oberen Schmelztal hat eines Morgens jeden Autofahrer im Berufsverkehr einmal geknipst. Egal, ob zu schnell oder nicht. Was war denn da los? Eine Glosse von Claudia Sülzen.

Ein merkwürdiges Eigenleben entwickelt hat dieser Tage der Blitzer im oberen Schmelztal. Unbeachtet blieb das blecherne Auge des Gesetzes, das im Auftrag des Rhein-Sieg-Kreises die Einhaltung von Tempo 40 vor einer scharfen Linkskurve überwacht, auch in der Vergangenheit nicht. Was das gute Stück auch schon leidvoll zu spüren bekam. Einmal verpassten ihm Witzbolde einen pinkfarbenen Anstrich und banden einen Maibaum daran. Ein anderes Mal wurde die Kontaktschleife im Boden manipuliert. Doch wehe, Rache ist süß. Und so zeigte der Kasten den Autofahrern jetzt, was ein richtiger Blitzmarathon ist. Und blitzte einfach jedes passierende Auto.

War ich wirklich zu schnell? Diese Frage dürften eine Reihe Fahrer mit Fug und Recht mit Nein beantwortet haben, während der Kasten den morgendlichen Berufsverkehr ohne Unterlass weiter dokumentierte. Bis dem Blitzer die Puste ausging. Besser: die Wattleistung. Denn schuld an dem Blitzlichtgewitter, wusste die Kreis-Pressestelle zu berichten, seien ein Defekt und dass das digitale Gerät aus zwei Batterien gespeist wird. Ist die eine Batterie leer, blitzt es vor sich hin, bis auch Nummer zwei zur Neige geht.

Die gute Nachricht lautet: Wer nicht zu schnell gefahren, aber geblitzt worden ist, muss natürlich nicht mit einer Knolle rechnen. Und was passiert mit denen, die in der 40er-Zone vielleicht nur 25 oder 30 gefahren sind? Die nette Idee von Honnefs Stadtsprecherin Christine Pfalz würde zumindest manchen Autofahrer erfreuen: Puffer statt Punkte, ein kleines Guthabenkonto für den nächsten Blitz-Ernstfall. Denn der kommt bestimmt. Schließlich hat der Kreis reagiert und die Blitze in die Inspektion geschickt. (Claudia Sülzen)
